Robokiller complete materials kit (Launching soon!)
Please note: when you purchase a materials kit you also receive a set of detailed instructions (the pages shown on this site are summaries).
A note on price....the price given is a guide only at this point...may alter before launch.

The kit consists of (summary):
1 x economy cordless drill (new but disassembled)
1 commercial cutting board
4 x leg motor/gearboxes
1 x rods and tubes set
1 x electrical set
1 x fasteners set
1 x miscellaneous set
1 x templates set
This consists of, in more detail:
Cordless drill (disassembled)

(Includes charger -not shown)
The motor and gearbox/clutch assembly from an economy cordless drill is used to drive the lunging head and neck of the Robokiller.
For this to be possible the chuck must first be removed. The chuck is secured using an M4 machine screw but with a left-hand thread. The only way to remove the chuck is to first dismantle the drill and then to secure the motor and to use an impact tool. This is quite tricky to do because the impact tool needs a long adaptor. We have made up a tool for this so we can supply the ready-disassembled item.
Note please that we are not technically selling the cordless drill, rather, by sending the order you are commissioning us to purchase a cordless drill on your behalf and to dismantle it and remove the chuck.
Note also that the chuck itself we will not send (to keep postage costs down since this is not needed).
Commercial chopping board in red, yellow or green (please indicate preference when purchasing).
